Raspberries are often an overlooked fruit, but Mulled Raspberry Tea is a fantastic winter warmer. Combined with spices and lemonade, the taste is incredibly refreshing.
- 1 cup frozen loose-pack raspberries, slightly thawed
- 2 cups brewed tea
- 2 cups cranberry-raspberry juice
- 1 cup prepared lemonade
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 whole allspice
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- Optional: Sugar and fresh (or frozen) raspberries
In a saucepan, slightly mash raspberries with a potato masher. Stir in tea, cranberry-raspberry juice, lemonade, water, and allspice. Bring the mixture to the boil and reduce the heat. Simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes. Strain and discard the fruit pulp and spices before serving in heat-proof glass mugs or cups. Sweeten with sugar for taste and, if desired, add lemon slices and additional raspberries.
